Summary
In the MyoVision software, you can create specialized protocols that can be quicker or more thorough; focused on specific regions of the body; or for static sEMG, thermography, or range of motion or a combination of the three. This document will show you how.
Note Before You Begin
  •  We recommend that you test every self-generated protocol before implementing it. There are several types of protocols and many different combinations.

Step-by-Step
1. Open your MyoVision software.

2. Go to the top menu and select “Protocol” and then click “Wizard” from the available choices.

3.  A window will open prompting you for a password. Type “newyork” – all lowercase with no spaces – into the box.

Click “OK.”

4. This will initialize the wizard. Read the first box for a deeper understanding of setting up protocols. Click “Next” when you’re ready to proceed to the next step.

5. Choose a protocol name. It is helpful if the name describes the type of test you will perform. For the below example, we used “New Test.”

6. Specify which type of test this will be. You can add other modules into the protocol which will allow you to perform different kinds of tests. (A module will refer to a particular type of exam within a protocol)

7. Specify the name of the module. Again, this name should be descriptive of the type of test you’ll be performing. For the purposes of this example, we’ve typed “New test.”

8. Select Hardware Range. Unless otherwise advised, “Normal” should be used.

9. Select the position you would like the patient to be in when you perform the test. This will usually be “Standing.”

10. Decide to add other modules or click “Next” to finish your protocol.

11.A window will appear, explaining what type of procedure has been created. If this sounds like the procedure you would like to keep, Click “Yes.”

12. You’ve successfully created a protocol. Look for your protocol in the Scan screen to test it out.
