Summary
Our software saves all scans in the system as a .wst file. This file does not open on computers not currently running the MyoVision software. This article will show you how to print your scans as PDF documents that can then be emailed easily, or saved in a different patient database software.
- You will need to download a file from the internet. Make sure you have appropriate Security Settings in place.
Step-by-Step
1. Open your internet browser and go to http://cutepdf.com/.
2. Click on the “Free Download” link. If you are using Windows 7 (and the Google Chrome web browser), you’ll see an icon in the bottom corner of your web browser like this:
If you aren’t using Google Chrome, you might get a different notification letting you know that a program is downloading from the internet.
3. After the installer has downloaded you be asked to “Save” or “Run” the file. Click “Run.”
4. The Install Wizard will open. Click “Next” when prompted.
5. Click “Install” when the Wizard will prompts you to do so.
6. After the install is complete. Click “OK.”
7. Open MyoVision software.
8.Click the “Open” button at the top of the screen. Select a scan you would like to email.
9. Click “OK.”
10. Go to “File” drop-down menu. Select “Print Exam.”
Note: For the sake of simplicity, we have selected the first option in the Print Menu.
However, you can select any of the print options you would like to use such as “Print Today’s Exams,” “Print Open Exams,” etc . The Cute PDF creator will work for all them.
11. Choose your options from the “Setup Report” screen. Click “OK.”
12. The “Print” screen will pop-up. Select “Cute PDF Writer” from the “Print” screen. Click “OK.”
13. A “Save As” screen will pop up. You can change to the destination of the file by choosing the drop-down menu at the top right of the screen labeled “Save in.” You can change the name of the file by choosing the area “File Name.” Once you know where the file is going and the name it will be under, click “Save.”
14. To email you would simply attach the file to the email you would like to send.
