Why Do the Static sEMG Reports Show Percentages After Some Readings and No Percentage After Others?

Last Updated: Oct 31, 2011 10:33AM PDT
When the readings are taken on either side of the spine at each indicated level a percentage will show up if the delta between the two readings is greater than 20%.

So if the reading on the left of C7 was 2.6 and the reading on the right of C7 was 3.8
  1. you would subtract the lower number from the higher number  3.8 - 2.6 = 1.2
  2. Take the delta 1.2 and divide it by the lower number   1.2 ÷ 2.6 =  .46
  3. Multiple that number by 100 and that number is the percentage   46%

Let's do T5
  1. 7.0 - 4.5 = 2.5
  2. 2.5  ÷ 4.5 =  .555
  3. 55.5% rounds up to 56%
If the answer is lower than 20% then a percentage does not disply.

What if none of my percentages display?

You may need to turn this feature on in your software.

Go to Setup / settings /  static

and make sure the check mark by percentage is checked.
