Note: To locate your software version in the MyoVision software, locate the "Help" menu on the far right side and drop-down to "About". You are looking for the top number.
3G systems
If you have a 3G system and software version 4.0 or later, your software is:
1. Compatible with XP, Vista, or Windows 7.
That computer must have:
2. 1.5 GHz Pentium III processor or higher
3. At least 1 GB RAM for XP or Vista & 2 GB RAM for Windows 7
4. At least 2 GB available space on the hard drive
5. Grounded AC adapter (3 prong) and be plugged into a grounded outlet
6. Administrative User account for computer
If you have a 3G system, check with our department to see if you qualify for a free software upgrade.
MyoVision 8000 systems
If you have MyoVision 8000 with a Visionport and software version 3.45, your software is:
1. Compatible with XP and Vista.
That computer must have:
2. 1.5 GHz Pentium III processor or higher
3. At least 1 GB RAM for XP or Vista.
4. At least 2 GB available space on the hard drive for install. You will want a great deal more than that for functionality.
5. Grounded AC adapter (3 prong) and be plugged into a grounded outlet.
6. Administrative User account for computer
If you have MyoVision 8000 with a Visionport and software version 3.19 - 3.43 your software is:
1. Compatible with XP only.
That computer must have:
2. 1.5 GHz Pentium III processor or higher
3. At least 1 GB RAM .
4. At least 2 GB available space on the hard drive for install. You will want a great deal more than that for functionality.
5. Grounded AC adapter (3 prong) and be plugged into a grounded outlet
6. Administrative User account for computer
If you have a Myovision 8000 without Visionport and a version of the software lower than 3.19 your software is:
1. Compatible with XP only.
That computer must have:
2. 1.5 GHz Pentium III processor or higher.
3. At least 1 GB RAM.
4. At least 2 GB available space on the hard drive for install. You will want a great deal more than that for functionality.
5. Grounded AC adapter (3 prong) and be plugged into a grounded outlet.
6. Administrative User account for computer
If you have a MyoVision 3000 or 4000 and it still works, don't change its current setup.
Other important considerations:
1. MyoVision is not supported on Mac operating systems.
2. MyoVision is not supported on Netbooks, Slate PCs, or tablets.
3. MyoVision is not supported on ungrounded laptops (most are grounded, but some manufacturers sell ungrounded laptops).
4. MyoVision is not supported on computing devices that do not have a CD Drive.
