Exporting Patient Files

Before you export your patient data file the MyoVision support team recommends that you create a new folder on the desktop or in the Documents folder to save the exported data to.

The steps below will take you through the process of exporting your patient data.

You can select all the exams for a specific patient by left-clicking the exam at the top, then while holding down the control key select the exam at the bottom of the list.

Then, click the button in the bottom left corner marked "..."

Perform Remote Interpretations

You can easily work on interpretations of scans remotely, such as at home.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure that your remote computer already has the MyoVision software and is registered. You can use the same registration key as your office computer.
  • Have a thumbdrive ready. If you plan to do remote interpretations, we recommend having a dedicated thumbdrive for this process.
  • Always have a backup of your main database. We recommend backing up daily and storing it off the computer.

CRITICAL: We do not recommend bringing files from your remote computer to your office computer, as you might accidentally overwrite newer files that are at the office.

  1. Follow the steps in Exporting Patient Files and export the files you want to work on at home.
  2. Copy those files over to a thumbdrive.

  3. Plug the thumbdrive into your remote computer and follow the steps in Importing Patient Files.

  4. You are now free to work remotely with your files and records taken from the office.

As mentioned above, we do not recommend bringing patient files from your remote computer to to your office computer as you may accidentally overwrite newer files that are at the office.
